Create your interoperable IDS-based data rooms

The IDS Base Camp is a standardization of data operations by its members for members.
The IDSA supports the project, but it is operated and maintained by truzzt. By offering a universal standard, we enable a wide range of applications and possibilities for technical and economic solutions.
What is the IDS Base Camp for?
Since the beginning of online data storage, compatibility has been an ever-growing problem. Each new online storage led to a huge amount of data silos that are still incompatible with each other. With a standard for secure, reliable data exchange, we are tackling this problem and transforming data silos into interoperable data spaces.

What does the IDS Base Camp offer?
The International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) is an association that promotes the standardization of data spaces and thus sets standards for sovereign data exchange. The Base Camp takes up the criteria for data spaces defined by the IDSA community and has set itself the goal of moving from theory to practice. By bringing together a large amount of technical expertise and knowledge from all stakeholders, we are able to develop a fully functional, secure and reliable data space. In this way, we can transform outdated data silos into interoperable data spaces. The ultimate goal of the IDS Base Camp is to create universal implementations that make the transfer of data simple, secure and fully interoperable.

IDSA and IDS Base Camp
The IDSA will take a promotional, introductory, supportive and distributive position for the project. It will disseminate the Base Camp, increase its relevance and popularity and at the same time provide feedback to the participants in order to contribute to the goal of a growing community.
Integrated/cooperation projects: iShare, DIO Data Hub, GXFS, FIWARE, IONOS projects, acatech projects Existing Test Beds (University of Tokyo, IDSA, etc)
